Optima EPS Enclosures Feature Advanced Shielding Options
Tucker Georgia, Sept, 2006 Optima EPS, an Elma Company, now has cabinet enclosures that feature advanced shielding options. The company has developed a special gasket used to achieve high attenuation levels on its M, R, and S-series cabinets.
Optima EPS has various levels of EMC shielding on its range of cabinet enclosure series. The S-Series is specifically designed for EMC shielding requirements. Going one step further, Optima EPS now offers advanced shielding options for the highest attenuation levels. The enclosures employ gaskets with a soft foam core and a mesh nickel-plated nylon exterior. The door has a tin-plated copper gasketing tape which makes contact with the foam gaskets located on the frame. The soft gasketing helps create a tighter seal for both the EMI and cooling considerations. The attenuation level is designed for a minimum 60DB at 500 Mhz. The cabinets also employ spring and sawtooth gaskets around the external seams. The M, R, and S-series cabinet families are available in a wide range of standard sizes, with extensive choices of; top, bottom, side panel, base, door and color options, allowing you to customize your unique enclosure system. The modularity of the Optima system provides the added flexibility to make modifications as your requirements evolve saving time and money. A complete offering of accessories such as: shielding kits, panels, shelves, slides, cooling fans, joining brackets and power products insure that Optima has the solution to your application needs.
Other electronic cabinet lines from Optima include a product mix of EMC, Seismic, Mil/Aero, Co-location, and Server cabinets.
