Optima Releases New Call Center Cabinet Enclosure

Tucker Georgia, October, 2009 Optima EPS, an Elma Company, and leading designer and manufacturer of cabinet enclosures for electronic systems, has announced a new cabinet enclosure designed for IT infrastructure applications.   

The shielded seismic M1 cabinet features superior cooling, extra cabling space, low acoustic noise, and a rugged design.   This design for Call Center applications includes a optional coffin-style door, which provides extra space for cabling. The perforated front and rear door provide for extra air intake and exhaust.  Extra EMC shielding gasketing and options are available.   For protection in up to Zone 4 Seismic areas, the cabinets have several features for ruggedization.   This includes heavy duty single or double walled extrusions, internal reinforcing corner keys, four way crimped and welded corner sockets and members provide a tough and reliable enclosure environment.   Rugged front-to-back stiffeners, cross bracing, thicker steel base, extra thick gage rails and ceiling or wall bracing provide further protection.  The bolt-down base allows universal hard mounting to the floor.
